I have a BS in Sociology & Criminal Justice from Texas A&M Corpus Christi and a Master’s in Social Work from Texas State University. I am a licensed social worker and have been working with Children’s Advocacy Centers since 2005. I enjoy helping our kids and family in their time of need.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from University of Pittsburgh in April, 2015. I have been working with children, youth, and families throughout my career with an emphasis on supporting those who have experienced trauma. My goal is to help my clients and families achieve safety so they may work through the things that happened to them and come out of therapy stronger and more resilient. I have experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

I am a licensed professional counselor through the State of Texas. I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas State University. I completed my master’s graduate internship working with children, adolescents, and adults for a children’s advocacy center. In addition, I worked at a private practice for two years providing mental health counseling to children, adolescents, and their families. I have experience working with survivors of trauma, anxiety, depression and parenting support. I am a Registered Play Therapist and trained in using EMDR and positive discipline. My goal is to help the families I work with navigate this journey to healing.

I was born and raised in Seguin and attended Texas Lutheran College. My involvement with youth has spanned many years working with several local sports associations as a coach and administrator. Professionally, I have had a career in sales and a passion for helping raise money for non-profit organizations that are involved with children. My fundraising work has led to me being selected as Citizen of the Year by both the Seguin Chamber of Commerce and the Seguin Gazette newspaper. I am now on staff to help financially support this tremendous organization that helps abused children and their families through this trying time.

I have a BA degree in Psychology and Child and Family Development from Texas State University and a Master of Social Work degree from Our Lady of the Lake University. I have experience providing and guiding direct services to children and families in various systems and  settings. My goal is to empower children and families to initiate the healing process and extend supportive resources.

I received my BA in Sociology from Texas Lutheran University and completed a M.S. in Family Studies through an online program with Texas Woman’s University. I am a certified radKIDS instructor and trained in MBF Child/Teen Safety Matters and I’m excited to expand our child abuse prevention program. I am honored to support our children and families during such a difficult process.

I have several years of experience in working with children and families who have been impacted by many different forms of trauma through my role as a Family Advocate. I obtained my BS at Wright State University in Rehabilitation Services. I am currently working on my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. I have worked with children, adolescents and families for around five years providing mental health treatment for depression, anxiety, ADHD and ASD among many other emotional challenges. I have worked in many settings from providing ABA Therapy in homes, group therapy at an Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit, and skills training for foster care youth. My goal working for the GCCAC is to help support families and provide a safe space for them to grow and cope with life experiences.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio, as well as a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the same institution. Over the past two years, I have gained valuable experience working with children, adolescents, and families in roles such as an intern and family advocate, where I provided mental health treatment for issues including depression, anxiety, and trauma. My professional aspiration in joining the Guadalupe County Children’s Advocacy Center (GCCAC) is to contribute to the support of families and to foster a nurturing environment that empowers them to effectively navigate and build resilience in the face of life’s challenges.

I am a Licensed Social Worker with a deep commitment to supporting children and non-offending caregivers in their healing journey from traumatic experiences. I hold a BA in Psychology from Texas State University and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Simmons University. Trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), I am equipped with evidence-based practices that aim to help children process and heal from the impact of trauma. With a passion for helping individuals rebuild their lives, my goal is to provide compassionate, professional care that fosters resilience and empowerment for children and their families.

I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Allison Eckelkamp, LPC-S, RPT-S, EMDRIA Consultant. I received my BA in psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and received my MS in clinical mental health counseling at the same university. I have clinical and administrative experience in a variety of settings including working with children with different mental health challenges, private practice, and wellness communities for the elderly. My modalities include play therapy, TF-CBT, and internal family systems. I am excited to transition from an internship position to full-time staff at the GCCAC, and I hope to continue helping children and families promote resiliency, strength, and healing in a safe and welcoming environment.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have a BA in Psychology and a BA in Sociology from Texas A&M University. I graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio with a Master’s of Science in Counseling and Mental Health. I have provided therapy in the CAC world since 2020. I have been trained in TF-CBT, CFTSI, EMDR, and PBT-PSB. Other modalities I practice are play therapy, sand tray, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I strive to create a safe and healing environment for clients, whether they are children, adolescents, or adults. I offer counseling services in English and Spanish.

I am a licensed professional counselor through the State of Texas under the supervision of Kelly Zentner, LPC-S. I received my Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M San Antonio. I have over 4 years of experience in residential care, case management, and program direction for a transitional living program, I bring a well-rounded perspective to our work together.
At the core of my practice is building a strong, trusting rapport with clients, as I believe this is essential for effective therapy. I understand that growth often comes with discomfort, and I am dedicated to supporting clients through their challenges. With a background in crisis intervention, I have successfully worked with individuals of all ages, including those who have experienced domestic violence and sexual assault. I approach this sensitive work with empathy, patience, and a trauma-informed lens, helping clients heal at their own pace while offering a safe space for them to rebuild their lives.
My goal is to empower clients, guiding them towards a path of healing and growth, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way.

I received my BA in Psychology with a minor in criminal justice, as well as my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Texas at San Antonio. My clinical experience is from working at a Residential Treatment Facility, Community Counseling, case management, and internships with children and families who have experienced trauma. My passion is working with survivors while using trauma centered modalities, such as TF-CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Person-Centered Theory. I hope to be able to provide a healing and safe place for clients and families to thrive and be able to reach their goals.

I have a BS in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and have worked with children in a variety of settings including schools and clinics. While working at the GCCAC, I hope to gain additional experience in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy. My goal is to meet the client where they are at in life, by helping to create an environment that fosters growth and healing.
